How do I change my news topics?
Go to Profile → My topics and tap the topics you want to follow. Your feed updates immediately after saving.
How often is the feed updated?
New articles are fetched and processed throughout the day — roughly every few hours. You'll see a "New Kurrnts" banner at the top of your feed when fresh stories are ready.
How does "Catch me up" work?
Tap the play button on the Discover screen to hear today's top stories read aloud. Kurrnt picks the most-covered topics from the last 12 hours and reads their summaries in a random order so you hear a variety. You can choose between two voices — James or Sarah — in your Profile settings.
Can I use Kurrnt without an account?
Yes. Browse as a guest to access trending and category content. Sign up to unlock a personalized feed, bookmarks, and push notifications.
How do I save articles for offline reading?
Tap the bookmark icon on any article card. Saved articles are available in the Saved tab even without an internet connection.
How do I turn off push notifications?
Go to Profile → Push notifications and toggle it off. You can also manage notification permissions directly in your device's Settings app under Kurrnt.
How do I delete my account?
Email us at support@kurrnt.news with the subject "Delete my account" and we'll remove all your data within 30 days.
Where do the news articles come from?
Kurrnt sources articles from credible, established news publications via the Event Registry news API. Articles are filtered for quality and relevance before appearing in your feed.
